Location: The second site in Timberyard Lane had been store rooms, and is set back from the road providing a secluded and private plot. We undertook flood risk mitigation and some contaminated land remediation, and overcame difficult ground conditions with a piled foundation system.
Design: BBM Sustainable Design also designed this pair of semis, but gave them a different appearance to the terrace of three in Timberyard Lane.
Construction: The ground floors were of masonry construction, with timber frame upper floors and the building was then slate clad. Work on the building started in July 2006 with completion September 2007.
